RE: Business relationship

Proposal: Form a limited partnership by sharing in advertising costs, utilizing same PR firm and selling /promoting one another’s product.
Dear Peter,
My name is Gabe Hampton and I represent TempRest Inc. The purpose of this letter to propose a mutually beneficial limited partnership between TempRest and Down on the Farm. As the only player in the temperature controlled bed industry we are seeking a bedding manufacturer partner. TempRest was the third highest grossing of all bed manufacturers in 2009 and is projected to be in the top two in 2010. In this market additional exposure is paramount. By advertising one another"s product simultaneously with our own we both gain double the exposure for half the advertising cost. By utilizing the same PR firm we will have a mutual understanding of our publics and have the ability to correlate our goals and information more efficiently. We have chosen to contact Down on the Farm because we feel our companies share similar values and both companies have vast potential. Thank you for your attention on this matter and I look forward to hearing from you shortly.
Sincerely,
Gabe Hampton

Online reputation
Memo
To: Jakob Asplund
From: Gabe Hampton
Date: 4/24/2010
Re: Online reputation
Jake,
I recently concluded an online search to discover more about your background in an effort to try to learn more
about you. I was curious to know just how much I could find online. This may or may not be alarming to you but my search revealed more than I though possible. Below you will find the results from my research:
Jake, according to my research you were born in Stockholm Sweden on May 9, 1987. Your parents are Jan and An
ne. You have one brother named Daniel. You attended Rudbeck Gymnasium High School in Stockholm, Sweden. You are 5 feet, eight inches tall. Your full name is actually Jakob Per Asplund. . Your blog is located at jakeascplund.blogspot.com
When you were seven years old you crushed your finger in an accident. Your mom wanted you to regain strength in that hand so she signed you up for tennis. You have been involved ever since.
You were one of the top junior tennis players in Sweden and earned a scholarship to play tennis at USU. You have been the number one singles player on the USU tennis team from your Freshman year to present. Your doubles partner is Bryan Marchant. You are also the number one doubles tandem on the USU team. You were named academic all WAC your Freshman and Junior years. You’re combined singles record from 2008 – 2009 was 24 -27, your doubles record from the same time period was 23 – 26.
You are currently a Public Relations and Marketing major. You really like Quentin Terrantino movies and you learned to speak English mostly from watching those movies. You have learned the hard way that the Utah/Logan culture is much different than the Terrantino culture. You enjoy living in America but the Mormon culture and USU are quite a culture shock as people in Sweden are more reserved and Stockholm is a huge city.
There you go Jake. There’s quite a bit about you out there. It makes me nervous to think of what someone might find out about me.
Warmest regards,
Gabe Hampton
